What is a Qualifying Limit Order?

To qualify for the Get Paid to Trade payout, your order must provide liquidity to the market exchange rather than taking existing liquidity.

BUY Order Rule

When a stock is quoted at $100.00 Bid × $100.05 Ask, submit a limit price at $100.00 or lower. When filled, you've added liquidity and earn the cash rebate!

SELL Order Rule

When a stock is quoted at $100.00 Bid × $100.05 Ask, submit a limit price at $100.05 or higher. When filled, you earn the rebate directly back to your account balance.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum 100 shares to qualify
  • Limit orders must be at least $0.01 below ask (BUY) or $0.01 above bid (SELL)
  • Credits paid in one cent increments only (no fractions)
  • Regular market hours only (no extended hours)
  • Note: Projections assume trading every business day (~21 days/month, ~252 days/year)
